IT'S HAPPENING!
IT'S THIS WEEK YALL!! We're super excited to get to hang out with all of you in Querétaro. You probably have some questions and don't want to read the FAQ. All good. Let's get into it!

What NOT to bring:

Dress Code
Heard there were questions on this. So let's be clear what to expect:
WELCOME PARTY - THURSDAY @ 5:30PM
SMART CASUAL
🤷🏼♂️ For men, this could be a polo shirt and some chino shorts with loafers, or a button up shirt tucked into some slacks. Or anything else that makes you look good and like you tried, but not too hard.
🤷🏻♀️ For women, think effortless and elevated: sundresses, stylish separates, jumpsuits, or cocktail-casual dresses with comfortable but chic shoes.
THE WEDDING - FRIDAY @ 4:30PM
FORMAL
🤵♂️ For men, a suit, formal dress shirt, and dress shoes. Tie optional. Color of your choice.
👰🏻♀️ For women, think formal eveningwear: floor-length gown, elegant midi dress, or elevated cocktail attire with formal accessories and shoes.
POOL PARTY - SATURDAY @ 1PM
POOL / LOUNGEWEAR
🩳 For men, a swimsuit and any kind of shirt for when you're not in the pool.
👙 For women, a swimsuit and any kind of other covering you'd like to wear around the pool. Please avoid wearing white so the bride may shine :)
Where We're Staying - Hotel Hércules
Almost everyone attending the wedding will be staying at the same property, and we're really excited to have everyone we love all in one place. Hércules is a 40 room boutique hotel that we have all to ourselves from Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28. Here are a few things to know about it:
-
Steph & Mike (and our immediate family) are arriving on Tuesday 6/23
-
Check-in time no matter what day you arrive is at 3PM
-
Check-out time is extended to 3PM
-
The hotel is only two levels, and there are no elevators (only stairs)
-
The hotel has a restaurant (Taverna) open from 7am til Midnight, serving food and drinks the entire time
-
There is a pool onsite that is just ours and is open from 7AM to 7PM
-
In the large recreational/fun area near the pool, there is a bar that also serves food
-
Connected to the hotel is a well-known local brewery and a very large beer garden (capacity is like 2,500 or something crazy) that serves food and drinks all day and night as well
-
Is the beer all Mexican? (someone asked me) Nope! In fact, most styles are German, and their food leans German as well - lots of sausages and those kind of things. Great IPAs as well. Okay. Enough about the beer. But it's great.
-
There is a 24 hour fitness room that has...well, a few things. But not a lot of things.
-
Valet parking (if you rent a car) is free; it takes about 10 minutes to get your car once you call
-
The staff is generally bilingual - speaking in English and pointing at things will get you there 95% of the time

A Note About the Weather...
You may be concerned to see that the forecast is looking a little...wet? Not hot?
Don't worry. This is typical for this time of year in Querétaro and the surrounding region. It's a lot like the Mountain West in the US (e.g. Colorado): the majority of the day will have clear skies and moderate temperatures, and then a possible afternoon shower rolls in sometime between 4-7. It doesn't always happen, and it isn't much rain, and it passes before you realize it. So don't sweat it. Pack summer clothes and be prepared for some possible showers that you may not even notice.
Otherwise, that might be it for now! If you have any questions, specific to you, or for things that you think the group would benefit from us sharing more about, please let us know. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU!
